When you order your VOXI SIM, you’ll be given the option to input your PAC code and select a switch day. This means that when your SIM arrives, your old number may be due to transfer on or around that day, depending on what date you selected. So you won’t have to wait for long before your SIM is ready to go.

If you skip this step, don’t worry. You'll get a new number when you join VOXI – but you can still have your old number transferred later on. To do this, sign into your VOXI account and go to the 'Transfer number' section. You'll be asked to enter your PAC code and choose a transfer date.

On the day your number is due to move, put your VOXI SIM into your unlocked phone and turn it on. Your transfer will happen automatically between 11am and 5pm on your chosen day. If it hasn’t happened by midnight, restart your phone (with the SIM inserted). If you’re still experiencing issues, please contact us.

In the meantime, you should still be able to receive calls on your old number until we’ve completed your move.

If you have an iPhone, you might need to update a few settings on your phone when you move your number to us. Follow these steps if you have any problems:

Go to Settings > Phone > My Number

Enter your chosen number, using +44 instead of the first 0

Tap Save

Reset iMessage settings

Go to Settings > Messages

Toggle iMessage ON

Scroll down and click Send & Receive, to replace the temporary number with your chosen number.
