What's included?
- Unlimited use of Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook Messenger, without eating your data
- You can tether another phone, laptop or tablet to your phone and your Unlimited Social Media will still apply when using those apps or websites on the other device. Tethering to other devices such as your video game console, TV, or through a smart device such as Chromecast, Roku, or Fire TV Stick, is not included and will come out of general data allowance
To keep your Unlimited Social Media active, you must always have some of your general data left. It doesn’t matter how little, just as long as there’s some data there. If you completely use up the data on your plan, your Unlimited Social Media, Unlimited Music and Video passes will become inactive.
What's not included?
- Anything else you do online, like browsing websites, sending emails, and using maps comes out of your general data
- Streaming videos and music on sites and apps like YouTube, Netflix, and Spotify, will come out of your general data if you don't have Unlimited Music or Video included in your plan
- Making and receiving voice and video calls on Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram is not included in Unlimited Social Media
- If you follow a link or a video that takes you out of an app, you’ll start using your data allowance - unless it links to an app or site covered by Unlimited Music or Video. For example, if you follow a link from Twitter to a YouTube video, you’ll use your general data allowance to watch it – unless you also have Unlimited Video
- If you’re connected to a VPN or Proxy all data usage will come from your general data
- Unlimited Social Media can't be used to stream ‘Twitter Live’ or Facebook Gameroom
- You cannot tether through video game consoles, TV's, or smart devices. These will use your general data allowance
- Unlimited Social Media does not apply outside of the UK
Please note: some apps display additional content like adverts, that play between songs on Spotify (picture, audio, and video) or before YouTube videos – these adverts will come out of your monthly data allowance. Extensions or third-party content such as location sharing/tracking, downloading, and sending GIFs, sharing shopping links, the sticker market, external videos, maps, and any app analytics, may also come out of your general data allowance.
